The Value of Your Hair

From the book Ancient Art of Self Healing which is a collection of excerpts from lectures, notes and classes by SSS Harbhajan Singh Khalsa (Yogi Bhajan)

ANTENNAS OF YOUR BODY
Hair is the most potent, purest form of protein in the world.  The very root of the hair has the oil of the protein.  This oil is enough to support your brain through any activity.  One thing Nature knows is that in every part of your body you have to have hair, because they are the antennas for that area of the body.  Each cell in the body goes through certain changes, and who is to provide that change in the antennas?  Hair.

Hair is the pranic antenna.  It is energy, pure protein.  Take a bunch of cut hair and put it around a tree and see what happens to the tree.  It shoots up.

VITAMIN PROVIDER
God is not just a mischief-monger to give a human the longest hair on the scalp.  Its purpose is to work on the brain.  The brain needs vitamin D, energy, phosphorus, and metals.  The number of units of vitamin D that these hairs provide immediately to the brain is unbelievable.

Sikh HairRISHI KNOTS (Jura) AND WOODEN COMBS
It is very positive for a woman to wear her hair tied on top of her head on the solar center in a rishi knot.  It is obligatory for the woman to wear her hair down at night, loose or in a braid.  Braiding the hair at night is one of the most wonderful ways to take care of your most powerful energy antennas.  For normal health of her eyes, menstruation cycle and long maintenance of her youth it is obligatory that she use a wooden comb, combing her hair back, forward, back, and so on.  This is for circulation of the scalp area.

Men tie a rishi knot almost where the soft point was when he was a child. A woman’s hair is supposed to be tied exactly at the solar centers.  Why? Well, she doesn’t have a beard and we never asked why.  Because of the waning and waxing of the moon, she has to protect her solar centers more powerfully than the male.

When a woman’s hair is loose, her identity to submit becomes a hundred times greater.  In old times it was a custom that when a woman went to her husband in intimacy, she let her hair down.  Unfortunately, now, during the day, everybody has their hair loose. Understand this action in the light of the downfall of sexual values.  The old Judaic and Islamic scriptures say that a “woman with loose hair and a mad dog have no difference whatsoever as far as integrity is concerned.”

Men should also comb their hair with a wooden comb.  A wooden comb is one simple thing which does not create any charge or discharge of electromagnetic energy.  That’s why we use wood.  Wood is surely and definitely a bad conductor of heat and electricity. It is a very healthy thing for combing your hair.

WOODEN COMBS
The wooden comb is for whenever you feel low in energy.  Just comb your hair back and forth with a wooden comb, right there on the spot.  It is just like a shot in the arm.  Try it sometime.  It works much faster than you can imagine.  The wooden comb is a very virtuous thing.

HEAD COVERINGS
It is written that it is very non-righteous to expose your hair to the cruelty of the change of weather. The Eskimos keep their heads covered all the time.  In the tropics, even the basic tribes have their heads covered, just like we tie a turban.

SHAVING THE HEAD
In ancient times, shaving the head was a sign of the slave, so all monks were to be shaven.  And they were just spiritual destitutes.  They depended just on that message, that is why it was made possible to dishonor them by cutting off their hair.  Cutting the hair on your head, on the crown, does nothing but dishonor yourself.  Ancient man through all his knowledge knew it, but there were so many monks that it became a fashion.  The barbers took over.

A monk is a person who only carries a message and is dead in his personality.  If you take a monk by the neck and beat him to death, he should not utter a word, if he is a monk.  That person has the right to shave his head. Shaving your head means you have lost your total existence, energy, and your contact with God.  You are only carrying the master’s word, you have nothing of your own.

For many centuries, even in the West, the knights, the barons, and all those big people, when they lost a war, they never were killed.  They used to ask for death, but the winning knight would just cut off the locks of hair of the loser.

BANGS
A woman should never wear her hair over her forehead.  God can grow hair wherever He likes, but no hair grows on the forehead.  The forehead bone, the sinus bones or the frontal bone, is porous because it functions to transmit light to the pineal gland in the brain.

An experiment was done in which 40 women covered their forehead area between the eyebrows and the hairline for 40 days.  The result was that those women could not look into the eyes of a male.

LEGS AND ARMPITS
Most women in America shave their legs and armpits.  Perhaps if they realize that by cutting the hairs under the arms they are affecting their magnetic field and the sympathetic nervous system and that by shaving the leg hairs they are altering the electromagnetic field of the lower spine, they might think twice about shaving.  Women do not understand what those tiny, tiny hairs on their legs do for them.  They only know they are bad things.  You know how the legs move, right?  On both sides of the legs there are hairs.  Those hairs create an electromagnetic field which balances the movement of the pituitary.  You shave it and it is your problem; they say it can make you insane.

The Importance of Long Hair & Beards

Importance of Long Hair and beards
  • Hair is the most potent, purest form of protein in the world. The very root of the hair has the oil of the protein. This oil is enough to support your brain through any activity.Hair is the pranic antenna. It is energy, pure protein.Hardly 0.5% of the protein that we take in with our daily diet, is spent on their upkeep. On the other hand, trimmed hair consumes much more protein because this has to be spent on the re-growth of the hair
  • The brain needs vitamin D, energy, phosphorus, and metals. The number of units of vitamin D that these hairs provide immediately to the brain is unbelievable.Shaving causes vitamin ‘D’ deficiency and this vitamin, in its turn, is directly concerned with the calcium metabolism of the whole organism.
  • The hair helps to synthesize vitamin D from sunlight. It also helps to supply the pituitary gland (located in the head) with phosphorous. Phosphorous is an element which is used in meditation by the aforesaid gland
  • Research has highlighted the fact that the hair serves as a factory providing Vitamin D for the body. Vitamin D protects a person against the fatal disease like Tuberculosis and is an essential element for bones, teeth and the nervous system. This is an item that is becoming scarce today. The reason behind its scarcity is that Vitamin D in vegetables is missing to a great extent as a result of the insecticides being sprayed for the protection of vegetable crops from certain diseases.
  • The specific physiological function of the hair, so far as the present knowledge goes, is to ingest and assimilate solar radiations. Each hair is in accumulation of pigmented (coloured) cells. This pigment is of the melanin type which has got the special affinity for the ultra-violet rays of the sun. The solar radiations cause important photo-synthetic chemical developments in the hair cells. Fatty secretion of the skin feeds the hair with the pre-cursor chemical of vitamin ‘D’ which is decomposed and recomposed in an assimilable form, in the hair cells with the help of the solar rays. Vitamin ‘D’ is very essential for the growth, development and integrity of all tissues and organs of the body
  • Hair helps to keep the head cool. Human hair on the scalp provides shade from the sun.
Hair cells are instrumental in helping us keep our sense of equilibrium (orientation with respect to gravity). When our bodies accelerate, decelerate, spin or fall, sensory hair cells are prompted by a sequence of events within the ear to release transmitter chemicals, which in turn stimulate sensory neurons to give us our orientation.
  • It forms an insulating coat on the body. Trap a layer of still air just outside the skin, and thereby reduce loss of heat by radiation. It absorbs harmful radiations from the sun
  • The hair of the legs regulates the glandular system and stabilizes a person’s electromagnetic field. The hair under the armpits protects the very sensitive area where the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems come together; this affects the brain and your energy level. Eyebrows protect the eyes from sun and sweat. Facial hair on men covers the moon center on the chin and protects them from excessive moon energy. The hair on top of the head is very long, while the hair on the body is short.
  • It has been proven scientifically that people who have long hair tend to be less tired, more energetic and less likely to become depressed. People who have long hair also conserve energy and don’t feel the cold of winter the same as people with short hair. A person who has shorn hair wastes his body’s energy. A person who cuts his hair over his lifetime forces the body to grow 22 meters of replacement hair. A person who keeps his hair only produces 1.5 meters of hair over his lifetime.
  • It is very positive for a woman to wear her hair tied on top of her head on the solar center in a rishi knot. In men the solar center is on top of the head at the front (anterior fontanel). Women have two solar centers: one is at the center of the crown chakra, the other is on top of the head towards the back (posterior fontanel).
  • It is obligatory for the woman to wear her hair down at night, loose or in a braid. Braiding the hair at night is one of the most wonderful ways to take care of your most powerful energy antennas. For normal health of her eyes, menstruation cycle and long maintenance of her youth it is obligatory that she use a wooden comb, combing her hair back, forward, back, and so on. • The hairs of the face protect the meridian lines along the jaw. (The meridian lines are energy lines that run through the body like blood vessels. Acupuncture has them mapped out.) The lunar facial nerves are located in the chin. They channel lunar energy. The same energy that influences a woman’s menstrual cycle and her emotions. The hair on the bottom of the chin insulates that nerve and keeps a man from being too emotional under lunar influence. Men are supposed to represent the Sun, which is constant with occasional flares
  • Hair on legs and arms create an electromagnetic field which balances the movement of the pituitary

Yeshua Continues To Make Disciples

Yeshua Continues To Make Disciples

And Yeshua went out of the territory of his parents, and many of his disciples followed him. discoursing among themselves along the roadway as to the wonders of nature and her many laws…And Yeshua began to preach and to say unto many, "Repent: for the Kingdom of Heaven is nigh and even in your midst." And as Yeshua was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother, for they were yet fishermen. And he saith unto them, “Come, now, follow me, and I will make ye fishers of men; leave ye off from disturbance of God’s creatures and learn ye to give life, not taking life from any living thing under the Sun.” And hearing these words of Yeshua, they immediately forsook their nets, and followed him on his way, wondering at the meaning of his words, for they were not of the Holy WaY of the Brotherhood and understood not the reverence toward all life.
The Holy Ones were named Essene by outsiders, meaning, the Holy Saints of God, they who taketh not a life of any creature, but known by their keeping the law of Humane Love amongst themselves.
And not long after this, Yeshua came unto two other brothers,  James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother. And he called  them … And they also followed Yeshua and became apostles unto the Lord. And Yeshua moved about all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Holy Way of life, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And the knowledge of his good works went throughout all Syria, and many were brought unto him ill with every kind of disease and torment, those possessed, those with palsy, and many other ailments did Yeshua heal.
And word spread among the cities and towns like wildfire, and there followed Yeshua great masses of believers from Galilee, and from Decapolis and from Jerusalem and Judea, and even from beyond Jordan. For the fame of Yeshua’ works and sayings were widely known, and many did tell their neighbors and their neighbors’ neighbors, so that the whole of the territory knew of Yeshua and his God-sent mission. And the disciples of Yeshua listened attentively to every word, and were astonished by his great wisdom and ability to know all things. For not a single soul asked a question or matter that Yeshua did not answer to satisfaction, some glad, some wrought. For many sought after Yeshua for unrighteous gain, but Yeshua knew their heart and understood every mind

Yeshua Appoints Apostles After His Name

Yeshua Appoints Apostles After His Name

And the time had arrived for Yeshua to start gathering disciples, that they might learn of His Law and Truth, for the living law was in the flesh and walked among men, teaching, healing, and ever interpreting the Holy Law unto all that would hear and know the holy way … From every tribe of Israel he so appointed an apostle unto Israel, that they like all nations of the earth, should hear testimony of his truths. In due course Yeshua would assemble many learners of the Holy Law to teach and instruct the nations the way to eternal salvation.
Peter and Andrew, brothers, were among the first to become disciples. Andrew said unto Peter: "We have found the Christ, our Messiah, let us follow his ways to salvation…" Going into Galilee, Yeshua came unto Philip and said, "Follow me." And Philip approached Nathanael, and said unto him, "We have found him, of whom Moses in the law and the Prophets did foretell, this Yeshua of Nazareth, the son of Joseph and Mary." And Yeshua said unto Nathaniel, "Behold an Israelite in whom is no guile or defilement of the Holy Law! Come! Follow me also with Philip."
And Yeshua continued to make disciples everywhere he spake the word of the Eternal. Yea, even among young men and old men, wise men and unlearned men, young women and widows, wealthy and poor, mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters. Many were they that heard the holy voice and hearkened to truth, and many were blessed with understanding and wisdom….
And some Pharisees looked on in all wonderment, but most looked on in ENVY and HATE, but Yeshua without letup continued to make disciples of all those yearning for truth and salvation.

Yeshua Teaches Natural Health Reform, The Natural Cures of Nature

Yeshua Teaches Natural Health Reform
   The Natural Cures Of Nature

And Yeshua continued to travel with many disciples to various regions of Israel, where he did amass believers of the Holy Law, for many listened unto him and were astonished and did believe truly in their hearts that he was the Son of God, the promised deliverer of the enslaved earthly race of man … And Yeshua did heal every ailment and disease among the sick, even teaching the people the art of true health reform according to the natural laws of nature. Yea, for he taught the people healing properties of plants, even every herb and grass of the field, and the power hidden in stones, and the cleansing miracle of pure water. And many were amazed and did believe and were healed.
And because of his great wisdom and understanding Yeshua amazed entire households and helped many unto the holy way of life. And Yeshua did teach the clean diet of man and beast, and taught even the Holy Law on health that all may know and learn true salvation. And he named every fruit that God had given unto man as food and every vegetable that God had given unto the beasts and birds of the earth, yea even of the fishes did Yeshua spake of and told every household with ears sacred truths of the holy way. And many were the listeners who obeyed his words from that time on.
And on hearing these things, a certain Sadducee who believed not in the holy things of God, asked Yeshua, "Tell me, please, why sayest thou, do not eat the flesh of animals. Were not the beasts giver, unto man as food, even as the fruits and herbs ye spake of?" And Yeshua answered him and said, "Behold this melon, the fruit of the earth." And Yeshua broke open a watermelon and said unto the Sadducee, "See thou with thine own eyes the good fruit of the soil, the meat of man, and see thou the seeds within, count ye them, for one melon maketh a hundred fold and even more. If thou sow this seed, ye do eat from the True God, for no blood was spilled, nay, no pain nor outcry did ye hear with thy ears or see with thine eyes. The true food of man is from the Mother of the earth, for She brings forth perfect gifts unto the humble of the land. But ye seek what Satan giveth, the anguish, the death, and the blood of living souls taken by the sword. Know ye not, those who live by the sword, die by the same death? Go ye thine way, and plant the seeds of the good fruit of life, and leave ye off from hurting the innocent creatures of God. For I tell ye, man needeth male and female beasts for the food he so lusteth after, but every plant and tree, God so giveth, beareth its own free seed for food. Depend ye not on the things unnecessary to your soul. Plant ye the good seeds of the melon, wherein ye saveth from season to season and waiteth for the soil like sleeping man awaiteth the sunrise; for the seed was made for the morrow’s meal, but the animals for the joy and pleasure of God and man.

25 Great ways to use LEMON PEELS

Lemon juice has so many household uses, but don’t toss those peels after squeezing your lemons! Use the whole lemon – juice, pulp, rind, and all. After squeezing lemons, hold onto those lemon rinds and check out our list of clever uses to be sure you’ve used the lemon to its fullest!

What makes lemons so useful?

Lemons are a versatile, natural option for cleaning, beauty, cooking and much more. Not only do they smell and taste great, but they possess antibacterial properties making them perfect for killing germs. Their low pH makes them perfect for beauty and personal care, and when applied directly to skin, lemon juice can lighten age and sun spots. Lemons have a high concentration of citric acid, which is great for general disinfecting and cleaning. The citric acid in lemons can help kill bacteria and mold, and also remove soap scum and mineral deposits.

25 Uses for Leftover Lemon Peels
1. Clean sinks and bathtubs

Sprinkle baking soda into a wet sink or bathtub, and use the cut side of a lemon to scrub these surfaces. This method will remove grime, act as a lemony “bleach,” and make sinks and bathtubs shine.

2. Make dishes sparkle

Lemon not only acts as a degreaser, but the citric acid found in lemon also helps remove spots from dishes. Throw lemon rinds with the pulp into your dish water to help remove grease and make glasses and silverware sparkle.

3. Remove grease or underarm stains on clothing

If you have half a lemon that has been squeezed, there will still be enough lemon juice in the remaining pulp to remove stains. Rub the half lemon on grease or underarm stains on garments. Allow it to sit overnight. For tough stains, sprinkle a bit of baking soda over the lemon-soaked stain and scrub, then wash as usual.

4. Clean coffee pots

The acid in lemons works to dissolve hard water deposits and burnt coffee stains from your coffee pots. To a cool coffee pot, add lemon rinds, a few tablespoons of salt (as a mild abrasive), and a cup or two of ice. Swirl ingredients around in the coffee pot for several minutes, or until stains are completely removed. If stains are stubborn, leave the mixture in the coffee pot and soak for several hours or overnight. Rinse coffee pot well before using again.

5. Clean soap scum and hard water stains on shower doors

Hard water stains are due to minerals in water, and soap scum is the result of the minerals in your water reacting with your soap. We already know from the coffee pot trick that lemon works great for removing this buildup. Take half a lemon rind with pulp intact, sprinkle salt inside it if desired, and rub directly on shower doors. Rinse well when finished.

6. Make an all-purpose cleaner

This is one of the simplest ways to use your leftover lemon peels. Add the peels of several lemons to a large jar, and fill with white distilled vinegar. Allow the solution to “steep” in a cabinet for a few weeks. Strain out the peels, and use the vinegar solution as a great lemon-scented all-purpose cleaner…perfect for de-greasing, disinfecting, and leaving things smelling fresh. Add the citrus-infused vinegar to a spray bottle and use to clean countertops, sinks, toilets, spills, stovetops, or other surfaces.

7. Refresh and sanitize cutting boards

Lemon does a nice job of eliminating odors that are trapped in your cutting boards (like garlic and onion!). It also sanitizes boards due to its antibacterial properties. Take half a squeezed lemon with pulp intact, and rub vigorously over a cutting board that has been sprinkled with a coarsely ground salt (like kosher salt). Rinse well and allow to dry.

8. Remove odors from hands

If you have lingering odors on your hands from chopping things like garlic or onions, rub lemon rinds on your fingers, nails, and hands to leave them smelling fresh again.

9. Deodorize garbage disposals

Smelly garbage disposals can be freshened up with leftover lemon rinds. (I’m always careful to put smaller chunks down the disposal so it doesn’t clog.) Simply drop rinds down the disposal with a few ice cubes and run the disposal.

10. Clean your microwave and stovetop

Put one or two lemon halves, that have already been squeezed, into the microwave for about 15-20 seconds. Carefully remove the lemon halves and use them to clean the inside of the microwave, as well as the stovetop and the range hood. Rub lemon halves onto surfaces, then wipe clean with a wet dish cloth.

11. Remove rust stains

The acid in lemons helps remove rust stains. This can be helpful in showers where shaving cream cans have left a rust ring, or sinks where iron pots have been left. Sprinkle salt on the rust stain and rub with half of a lemon that still has pulp inside. Allow the salt and lemon to sit for several hours, scrubbing periodically if needed. Allow the lemon to rest on the surface overnight if the stain has not yet disappeared, then rinse well with water.

12. Whiten teeth

The acid content in citrus rinds can whiten and brighten dull or stained teeth. Rub the inner white part of the lemon peel on your teeth for a few minutes for a whitening effect. Rinse well with water or brush teeth after using the citrus peels. I love this remedy because you will notice almost immediate whitening effects! Only use this technique a few times per month to avoid damage to tooth enamel or tooth sensitivity.

13. Citrus Vinegar Hair Rinse

Vinegar makes a wonderful conditioning hair rinse, whether you’re using homemade no-poo, or just want shiny, healthy, pH balanced hair. The addition of lemon to your homemade conditioning rinse will help keep a greasy scalp and hair under control, while improving dull hair and resolving many scalp issues. Add the peels of several lemons to a jar, and fill almost to the top with apple cider vinegar (we use this kind). Allow it to sit for 1-2 weeks and strain out peels. Add about 1 tablespoon of this citrus vinegar solution to 1 cup of water, and use as a conditioning rinse after shampooing. Allow the rinse to remain on hair for a few minutes, then rinse out or just leave in.

14. Lemon facials for toning and skin brightening

Lemon’s low pH makes it a perfect skin toner. You can rub the inside of a juiced lemon directly onto sun spots and age spots to lighten them. Just allow the juice to dry on skin, or rinse off after 15-20 minutes. Repeat every day. You can also use the inside of a juiced lemon as the first step in a luxurious skin-brightening facial. Rub the inside of the lemon all over your face, then apply a honey mask on top of that. Rinse off after 20-30 minutes.

15. Smooth and soothe dry, scaly elbows

This is the perfect trick for softening elbows that are dry and scaly from winter weather. After juicing a lemon, take the two halves (with pulp intact) and sprinkle baking soda inside them. Stick elbow inside lemon half, twisting and turning the lemon on your elbow to exfoliate and soften. Optionally, you can then set lemon halves on a tabletop and rest elbows in them for several minutes before rinsing and drying your newly softened elbows.

16. Make your own Vitamin C powder

Since the rinds of citrus fruits contains high levels of Vitamin C, you can make your own Vitamin C powder with lemon peels. Dry peels on parchment paper, in a 200° oven, or a dehydrator until completely dry. Grind into a powder using a spice grinder like this. Use this Vitamin C powder in your homemade Anti-Aging Facial Toner!

17. Freeze lemon peels for recipes

You can freeze your rinds (or even whole lemons) and use them in recipes calling for lemon zest. You can also zest your fresh lemons before using them, and store the lemon zest in the freezer. Store flat in a zip-top baggie so it’s easier to break off a chunk of frozen lemon zest. Allow to thaw before adding to recipes. Add small amounts to foods, smoothies, or desserts for a bold flavor.

18. Dry lemon peels for recipes

Cut rind into strips and dry on parchment paper, in a 200° oven, or in a dehydrator. When completely dry, store in glass jars and label. Use in baked goods, tea, or other recipes.

19. Candied lemon peels

Although I’ve never tried this one, they sound delicious. I see candied lemon peels on top of gourmet desserts in some of my favorite bakeries and cafes. Make your own using the instructions found here.

20. Homemade lemon pepper

Lemon pepper chicken used to be one of my favorite dishes. But it required I buy a special bottle of lemon pepper to season with. Well, one thing I’ve learned in the wonderful world of DIY-ing is that you can make your own. Simply dry lemon peels on parchment paper, in a 200° oven, or in a dehydrator. Once dry, chop into smaller pieces and add to a grinder with whole peppercorns and coarse sea salt. You’ve just made a delicious seasoning for your next dinner!

21. Burn lemon peels for fragrance

Toss your leftover fresh or dried lemon peels in your fireplace or wood burning stove to add a delicious lemony scent to a room. Dried peels will help ignite the wood around them because they contain oils that make them burn longer.

22. Air freshener

If you don’t have a fireplace, you can simmer lemon peels on the stove top. In a medium sized pot, combine lemon peels with vanilla, cinnamon sticks, and water. Simmer over low, periodically adding more water when needed.

23. Deter cats

Citrus is a known cat repellent. If you want to keep cats out of a garden or indoor plants, you can scatter your lemon peels around or mulch the surface of your soil with citrus peels. Keep cats off countertops or shelves by placing your lemon peels in small bowls on these surfaces. Spray your citrus/vinegar cleaner on rugs or around doorways of rooms you want your cats to stay out of.

24. Deodorize garbage cans

If your garbage cans are starting to smell funky, you can put lemon peels in the bottom of the can underneath your garbage can liner. (Do not add lemon rinds with the pulp, or they will start to mold.) Replace every few weeks to keep garbage cans smelling fresh.

25. Start seeds indoors

If you have lemons that were cut in half and juiced, you can use those lemon “cups” to start seeds indoors. Poke a few holes in the bottom of the lemon if desired (for drainage), fill the lemon halves with soil, and plant your tiny seeds in them. This entire lemon cup can be planted outdoors in the spring.

Vibrations of the Number 13

The vibrations of the number 13 are very, very powerful.

Such power can be recognized and embraced and utilized for the benefit of self and others. The power can also be frightening and considered something to be avoided or taboo. So says this article at affinityseries.com

The power inherent in the number 13 is neither "good" nor "bad". Power is just energy until utilized.

Its power is one of the reasons for it’s negative reputation. Those who do not resonate with its vibrations find the vibes to be an obstacle and will certainly experience negative circumstances in their lives.

13 represents the basic triad, 1-2-3 as self-partnership-group. The individual digits in the number 13 add up to the number 4, which represents building a foundation for the future.

The number 13 has the foundational vibration of humanity.

Resonating with the vibrations of the number 13 can result in profound understandings. The knowledge can be used for good or for evil, as past masters of the knowledge have demonstrated — the wizards and witches and magicians of lore.

The use of that understanding to gain what was unwanted by others or to gain control over others may be another reason for the number’s negative reputation.

Everything is balanced. When something can be used for good, it can also be used for bad.

With a number as powerful as 13, the effects can be dramatic and profound and can have a long-lasting ripple effect into the future.
